She had been hoping to have a fun but relaxing day out with her friend.
But Kimberley Garner's Sunday went from laidback to stressful as she and pal Rosie went boating on The Serpentine in London's Hyde Park.
Not only did Kimberley's already tiny skirt blow up to reveal her bottom, but the girls were also left struggling when they accidentally dropped an oar into the water.
Doing their best to find the situation funny rather than scary, Kimberley managed to find time to write on her Twitter page: 'Help! Someone come save me and @RosieLondoner we've lost our oar! #HydePark #DamselsInDistress.'
The girls apparently had to be rescued from the water after failing to retrieve the lost oar.
However, before their accident, the duo had earlier looked in good spirits as they made the most of the winter sunshine on the lake.
Kimberley appeared to be doing her utmost to channel Bridget Jones as she stood up in the vessel and rocked it, narrowly avoiding falling in herself as Rosie played it safe and stayed sitting down.
Ever concious of her appearance, Kimberley's outfit for the day out perhaps wasn't one that would traditionally be worn for a day of boating.
The blonde star opted for a thigh-skimming blue skater skirt, which she teamed with a black top, black leather jacket and suede thigh-high boots.
Finishing off her look, Kimberley opted for a pair of sunglasses, and left her blonde hair loose to wave in the wind.
But Kimberley hadn't anticipated the strong winds on the day out.
The former Made In Chelsea starlet appeared completely unaware as her flirty skirt blew up in the breeze, revealing her pert derriere in the process.
Once Kimberley realised her sartorial error, she looked red-faced as she attempted to readjust the outfit to maintain her modesty.
