So it seems Kim Kardashian may have made a rather embarrassing faux pas when she decided to tag along with her 36-year-old beau to his Adidas meeting on Friday wearing a Nike outfit.
Kim dressed her post-baby body into a tight black top teamed with black Lycra leggings that had the unmistakeable Nike logo on them.
It was hard not to notice the Kim with her generously proportioned figure standing at the front gate to the office building.
She wore no trace of make-up and had her long hair bundled into a hassle-free topknot, but her nails were perfectly polished in dark red.
Earlier in the day, she had enjoyed a pampering session at her Beverly Hills nail salon while wearing the same Nike clothes.
The Kardashian heiress still didn't seem to see the irony of her brand preference as she later emerged with her man carrying a brown-paper shopping bag.
Kanye was sportily attired in torn jeans, a white shirt and sage-green, quilted jacket, along with light suede shoes.
The music mogul was previously with Nike but severed ties with the athletic brand in late November 2013.
Kanye, whose reported net worth hovers around $100 million, says he broke away from Nike and formed a partnership with Adidas because he has 'to provide for my family.'
'I took the Adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family,' Kanye told Angie Martinez's New York's Hot 97 show.
He went on to boast: 'Whatever is official, non-official, official-what y'all gonna see is I'm gonna be the Tupac of product.
'I'm gonna be the first hip-hop designer and because of that I'm gonna be bigger than Wal-Mart.'
