Well, seems she can - for the length of a basketball game at least.
The usually scantily clad bikini model looked decidedly covered up as she and a friend headed out to catch the game in New York on Thursday night.
Fans of the voluptuous model have the polar vortex to thank - or to blame - for the 21-year-old keeping her famous body under wraps.
Ensuring to block out some of the chill, the Sports Illustrated star donned an almost all black look featuring a long sleeve top, skinny jeans that highlighted her slender pins and a suit jacket with leather sleeves.
The blonde beauty accessorised the look with a pair of loose fitting boots and an envelope clutch.
Kate gave her outfit a pop of colour thanks to a bright red and purple scarf which she tied casually around her neck.
The model also added some extra colour by mistake, due to the unfortunate decision to wear a white bra under her top.
As the top was sheer, the non-matching underwear choice drew even more attention to her already attention grabbing chest area.
